Joel Mathews Aku is the Co-CEO and Chief Financial Officer of ISystems Worldwide Limited. Mr. Aku, was educated in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant (FIMC) and holds MSc degree from University of Leicester in the UK and a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research (Second Class Upper Division) from the Federal University of Technology, Yola. He holds a Distinction in Database Management System in 1998 from the Federal University of Technology, Yola.

Mr. Aku is an experiences CFO with proven track record of establishing cross-functional partnerships, to deliver stellar results. He is accountable for strategic and financial direction of the company. 

Mr. Aku started his career with government at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as technology and financial analyst in 2000 before leaving in 2006 to pursue his interests in the private sector. A chartered management consultant, Joel has over 15 years cognate industry experience in finance, marketing, media and technology sectors.

He is married to Mathar Aku a Business Administrator and they have 5 children. He enjoys golfing and badminton.
